Studio Lead Role at UNDRCARD Calgary

Responsibilities:

  • The ability to provide sold eye contact, a warm smile and recall a name. Preferably all at the same time.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative to address questions.

  • Work as a cohesive team with all staff members to ensure efficiency and camaraderie.

  • Enforcing studio appearance and cleanliness on almost a daily basis.

  • Provide social media support.

  • Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations and promotions.

  • Maintain the studio aesthetic, atmosphere and culture.

  • Participate in quarterly team meetings.

  • Assist management in ad hoc studio tasks.

  • Recruiting, training and coaching new hires for the front desk staff team.

  • Implementing, auditing, and enforcing studio policies.

  • Rolling out sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Managing studio email account: hitus@undrcard.com.

  • Managing inventory of studio supplies.

  • Managing payroll.

  • Managing staff schedule.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Mind Body software required.

  • Experience with WhenIWork.com preferred.

  • Must have leadership or management experience.

  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude

  • Must have customer service experience.

  • Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction.

  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities.

  • Must have very good organizational skills and timely response times to emails (24 hours or less during workweek).

  • Must have social media experience, especially Instagram.

  • Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule such as early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be available to work 3 or more 4-hour shifts per week, plus daily 1-2 hours for email 5 days per week.

  • Must have attended at least 5 UNDRCARD classes prior to applying

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Must be able to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for a long duration of time.

  • Must be physically able to participate in the fitness classes in order to maintain an authentic familiarity with the studio and clientele.

  • Must be able to use cleaning products and cleaning tools on a regular basis.

  • Hourly wage.

  • Commission for seasonal sales incentives.
