Responsibilities:

  • Warm and inclusive customer service. Provide sold eye contact, a warm smile and recall a name. Preferably all at the same time.

  • Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced customer service environment.

  • Provide leadership to the Front-Of-House team including (1) scheduling staff, (2) managing payroll, (3) enforcing studio policies and (4) rolling out sales and marketing initiatives to staff and guests.

  • Recruiting, training and coaching new hires for the front desk staff team.

  • Maintain the studio aesthetic, atmosphere and culture and enforce on a daily basis. Audit for cleanliness and brand alignment. Delegate and oversee ongoing studio maintenance and cleaning including fitness equipment.

  • Support for special events, private bookings and strategic alliances.

  • Participate in quarterly team meetings.

  • Assist management in ad hoc studio tasks.

  • Manage studio supply inventory and adhere to budgetary guidelines. 

  • Act as a conduit between national management and local studio. Provide weekly performance reports via email.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Mind Body software required.

  • Experience with WhenIWork.com preferred.

  • Must have leadership or management experience.

  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude and a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities.

  • Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule such as early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for a long duration of time.

  • Must be physically able to participate in the fitness classes in order to maintain an authentic familiarity with the studio and clientele.

  • Must be able to use cleaning products and cleaning tools on a regular basis.

  • Hourly wage.
